The facilities have been thoroughly renovated to turn it into a true emotional refuge for users, where they can feel at home, with the aim of offering closer and more humane therapeutic assistance. The renovation has been possible thanks to the support of the Fundació Nou Mil·lenni, through the Fundació Amics del Hospital del Mar. The Simon Foundation, Pinturas Elías and Tarkett have collaborated.

This October 27th has returned the Marina Walktrail, the Nordic solidarity walk of the Fundació Amics de l'Hospital del Mar with the Fundació Pasqual Maragall, which has reached its tenth edition with the solidarity objective of raising funds for research in brain diseases that is done at the Research Institute of the Hospital del Mar. On this occasion, more than 16,000 euros were raised.

Many thanks to our colleagues at Hospital del Mar for their participation in this new edition of BCN Salut Games, the solidarity Olympics of the health and research sector. The funds raised amounted to €1,765, which will be allocated to charitable projects through the Friends of Hospital del Mar Foundation.
The Marina WalkTrail will take place on October 27th at 10:00 am in the Parc de la Serralada de Marina
