About 300 people participate in the seventh edition of Marina WalkTrail to raise funds for research in immunotherapy and breast cancer
The marchers have occupied the Sierra de la Marina of Santa Coloma de Gramenet this Sunday, October 17, with a goal of solidarity. After a virtual edition due to COVID19, the Amics de l'Hospital del Mar Foundation's Nordic walk of the Marina Walktrail has returned in face-to-face format to raise funds for research in immunotherapy and breast cancer at Hospital del Mar and the Hospital del Mar Institute for Medical Research. The appointment has come on a very special date, just two days before World Breast Cancer Day.

Join the Marina Walktrail 2021, the 7th solidarity nordic walk of the Amics de l'Hospital del Mar, the Parc de Salut Mar and the program La Mar de Saludable.
Registration will open on September 15th.
Roses que curen adds up to more than € 1,500 for research on COVID-19
Thanks to the "Roses que curen" (healing roses) initiative from the 6th grade medical students at Hospital del Mar, all patients received their rose for Sant Jordi, and we will also be able to raise more than € 1,500 for research on COVID-19.

#Rosesquecuren (healing roses) is an activity organized by 6th grade medical students at Hospital del Mar in collaboration with Amics de l'Hospital del Mar Foundation.

David Ramírez is the author of the comic Conviviendo 19 días, in which he explains his experience when her husband had to be admitted to Hospital del Mar due to COVID-19. A story full of humor, love and tenderness that brings together the fears and uncertainties of both patients and their families and also has a solidarity aspect.
