The Hospital del Mar (Parc de Salut Mar), the Fundación Amics del Hospital del Mar and the La Mar de Saludable program have been conducting the Nordic Walking Marina Walktrail for 5 years to raise funds for research at the Hospital del Mar.
This year, due to the pandemic we are suffering, the VI Marine Walktrail Nordic Walking will be held virtually and for the benefit of the fight against COVID19.

Abre el primer espacio Domum MAR en el Hospital del Mar
Se trata de una iniciativa que nace de la alianza estratégica entre el centro, la Fundación Nous Cims y la Fundación Amics del Hospital del Mar, con el fin de convertir las salas de espera en salas de estar para los pacientes que esperan para recibir el tratamiento de quimioterapia o radioterapia. El proyecto es fruto del programa de mejora de la experiencia del paciente del Hospital del Mar, que ha permitido identificar tanto la necesidad de contar con espacios más humanos, como de ofrecer a los pacientes oncológicos un programa de acciones para mejorar su bienestar físico, emocional y social. El Domum MAR, el primero de su tipo, se ha concebido como un entorno terapéutico en base a la evidencia científica, para el cuidado de las personas a partir del interiorismo emocional y el diálogo del arte con la salud.
