Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is the third most common neurodegenerative disease in Spain, after Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. It is a complex disease, with an incidence of 2 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Catalonia and a median life expectancy of 3 to 5 years. In the absence of an effective treatment, research is a priority to find advances that allow changing the natural history of the disease.

We need more research hours to find solutions for patients and their families.
