The pilot test of a new gown design for patients at Hospital del Mar will be launched
The pilot test is aimed at preserving the privacy and safety of surgical and oncohematological patients during their hospital stay. The aim is to improve the comfort and privacy of patients and also improve safety when applying care by avoiding unnecessary manipulation and helping to prevent infections.
This initiative has emerged from the oncohematology nursing teams, general surgery and infection control program in order to respond to all these needs with appropriate hospitals.
The collaboration between the Foundation of Amics de l'Hospital del Mar and the company Vesismin has made possible the launch of the pilot test.
