The Barcelona Marathon is approaching, and we invite you to participate in a charitable way with Amics de l'Hospital del Mar, raising donations to support the researchers at the Hospital del Mar and the Hospital del Mar Research Institute in their ongoing efforts.
From the Friends of the Hospital del Mar Foundation, we aim to dedicate hours to medical research. For every €30 raised, we will achieve an additional hour of research.

Hospital del Mar Research Institute:
The Hospital del Mar Research Institute is the oldest active public research facility in the country. It was inaugurated in 1948 by Sir Alexander Fleming, Nobel Prize winner in Medicine for the discovery of penicillin.
Located in a privileged enclave, facing the sea, next to the Hospital del Mar and the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), the institute is committed to translational research of excellence, seeking answers to biomedical problems to be applied in clinical practice.
